The first Protean, completed in 2014, was designed specifically as a TV stand. Today, this adaptable piece of furniture can be found in different rooms of homes, with different uses, and is also often found on the front page of an office space, charming passersby. The frame of the Protean, which is manufactured with precision and skill, is made of European oak. The bevels of the upper corners show a continuous grain pattern, the so-called waterfall joint. Carefully selected long planks are used for the frame to achieve this. The legs are movable, and the doors can be easily lifted off.
