Lacquered veneer
The lacquered surface repels dirt and moisture well. Maintenance is therefore quite easy. If liquid is spilled on the surface, wipe it off as quickly as possible. Also, do not use flower pots on the surface, as moisture may form underneath.
For daily cleaning, use a dry or soft cloth without detergent. If the surface requires more thorough cleaning, use a mild pH-neutral detergent and a cloth slightly dampened with lukewarm water. Always wring out excess liquid from the cloth. Finally, dry the surface. Products treated with varnish must not be cleaned with alkaline or other aggressive cleaning agents. Also, do not use an abrasive cloth or cleaning sponge. Please note that the surface must not be left wet or damp, as water can penetrate the surface and damage it.
A varnished surface does not need regular re-treatment, unlike an oiled surface.

Sheepskin
Sheep wool has a natural dirt-repellent property. Generally, regular vacuuming is sufficient for cleaning. If a stain occurs on the fleece, use water first and a mild wool detergent for more serious stains.
