The linear Louisette is named after a device developed by French Dr. Antoine Louis, which later became known as the Guillotine after another gentleman. The functional top edge of the mirror was inspired by the same device. Louisette loves sunlight, and often the best place for it is on a windowsill. The heavy marble keeps the mirror embedded in it upright, and the beveled edge at the top offers the possibility of storing necklaces.
